Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 2026
Houston IT Group wants this website, and the support we provide, to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, or keyboard-only navigation.
What we have built in
- A visible "Skip to main content" link on every page for keyboard and screen-reader users.
- Semantic landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) and a single, correctly ordered page heading on every page.
- Clearly visible keyboard focus outlines on links and buttons (
:focus-visible), rather than relying on hover alone. - A compact, accessible mobile menu with proper
aria-expandedandaria-controlsstate. - Support for the "reduce motion" operating-system setting.
- Form labels that are programmatically associated with their inputs, not just placed visually near them.
Known limitations
This is an actively maintained small-business site. If you find a page, control, or document that does not work well with your assistive technology, we want to know so we can fix it — see "Report a problem" below.
Support sessions
If you need remote or in-person support delivered in a particular way because of a disability — for example, extra time, a specific communication method, or someone else present during a session — tell us when you request support and we will do our best to accommodate it.
Report a problem
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this site or during a support engagement, email [email protected] with the page or situation involved. We will work to address genuine barriers promptly.
Changes to this statement
We may update this page as the site changes. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
